Manage supplier quality performance and ensure purchased components meet required quality standards throughout serial production.
Oversee incoming inspections, supplier audits, and quality improvement activities to prevent production disruptions.
Coordinate supplier complaints, corrective actions, and product/process changes to ensure continuous quality compliance.
Monitor supplier quality KPIs, identify quality issues, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
Develop and manage inspection plans; conduct or coordinate visual and dimensional inspections of incoming components.
Review samples and technical documents to ensure compliance with specifications and requirements.
Manage supplier complaints using the 8D methodology, from initial containment (D1–D3) through root cause analysis and corrective actions (D4–D8).
Coordinate sorting activities, defective sample analysis, and quality-related cost management.
Conduct supplier audits and assessments in accordance with VDA 6.3, ISO 9001, and other relevant standards.
Manage supplier-related product modifications, process changes, and production transfers, including re-sampling activities.
Evaluate supplier quality performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
