- Identify manufacturing processes with potential for automation using automation systems, humanoid robots, collaborative robots, conventional robotics or other automation technologies.
- Work with machinery suppliers, especially local suppliers in Vietnam and China or other countries, to design, manufacture, modify, and commission the machinery.
- Travel to China to work directly with automation & humanoid robot manufacturers, integrators and technology partners.
- Learn robot operation, programming, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Participate in technical training and factory acceptance tests at suppliers' facilities in Vietnam & China.
- Evaluate different robotic technologies, automation system according to technical feasibility, reliability, cycle time, safety, flexibility and cost.
- Develop Proofs of Concept (PoCs) for new automation applications, new machinery.
- Lead installation, commissioning, testing and ramp-up of robotic applications, automation system and new machinery.
- Integrate robots, automation systems with existing production equipment, sensors, PLCs and manufacturing systems.
- Define interfaces between robot/automation system, operators and production equipment.
- Monitor performance after implementation and improve reliability, cycle time and productivity.
- Troubleshoot technical problems together with equipment manufacturers and suppliers.
- Create technical documentation, operating standards, maintenance instructions and training materials.
- Train production and maintenance personnel in the operation and basic troubleshooting of robotic systems, automation system, new machinery.
- Support the development of a long-term automation roadmap for the Vietnam plant.
- Document lessons learned and developing standards that can later be replicated in other company manufacturing plants.Yêu cầu:
