Design, develop, and optimize tooling, jigs, and fixtures for automated manufacturing and assembly processes, particularly for connector, cable assembly, and optical connectivity products.
Develop mechanical concepts and solutions for assembly fixtures, inspection fixtures, and automation equipment.
Manage equipment and tooling installation, debugging, commissioning, and production ramp-up.
Collaborate with suppliers on tooling and fixture fabrication, machine building, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
Maintain engineering drawings, technical documentation, and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
Research and implement new technologies and mechanical solutions to improve manufacturing equipment and processes.
