Design and develop plastic injection molds based on product specifications, manufacturing requirements, quality standards, and tooling performance criteria.
Prepare and maintain mold designs, technical drawings, specifications, and related engineering documentation to ensure accurate implementation.
Participate in mold design reviews and feasibility assessments to evaluate manufacturability, functionality, and compliance with product requirements.
Analyze and resolve mold-related issues affecting production efficiency, product quality, tooling performance, and manufacturing costs.
Identify root causes of mold defects or production problems and implement corrective actions to improve product quality and operational efficiency.
Provide technical guidance and support to production teams on mold-related issues, recommending design modifications when necessary.
