Independently source and negotiate competitive freight rates with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, trucking companies and other logistics providers.
Obtain and compare ocean freight, air freight, customs clearance, warehousing and local transportation costs.
Prepare straightforward FCL, LCL and air freight quotations.
Support our Pricing Team with complex and time-sensitive enquiries.
Follow up proactively with suppliers to ensure timely rate responses.
Maintain and update freight rate databases and supplier information.
Ensure all relevant costs, surcharges and service conditions are accurately captured.
Assist the sales team in managing client inquiries and providing timely responses via phone and email.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth processing of quotations and shipments.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities.
Support the preparation of sales presentations and proposals.
Monitor and report on sales performance metrics.
Participate in team meetings to discuss strategies for improving sales processes.
