Handle day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including recording financial transactions, maintaining the general ledger, and managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
Set up and maintain QuickBooks Online (QBO), including creating and organizing the Chart of Accounts based on business requirements.
Maintain accurate accrual basis financial records and ensure revenue and expenses are recorded in the appropriate accounting periods.
Prepare journal entries and balance sheet adjusting entries to support accurate financial reporting.
Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and make necesary adjustments.
Support month-end closing activities, ensuring accounting records are complete and up to date.
Prepare basic financial reports, including Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets, and assist with reated schedules as needed.
Maintain well organized financial records and supporting documentation in accordance with accounting procedures.
