Handle Seafreight Import shipments and handle any other tasks assigned by Manager/HOD
Principal Accountabilities
Operation & Document:
Receive SOP from sales, communicate with origin office to arrange import shipment (for Freehand)
Receive pre-alert & check documents for all import shipments
Follow up the status of import shipment & arrange all documents: submit e-Manifest issue Notice of arrival (NOA), Delivery Order (D/O), Letter of Authorization (LOA), manifest amendment docs (if required) …
Get D/O from carrier
Follow up the customs clearance & delivery (for shipment under group D)
Up-date all required information, events timely & accuracy in systems if any & if required by account’s SOP.
Make report as required
Billing/invoicing:
Issue tax invoice /sales invoice to customer / HWL overseas.
Follow up the payment from customers (for non-credit) until everything is settled.
Make statement for credit account & follow up with accounting Dept. for payment.
Trace the invoice from carriers/ sub-contractors & post the Vendor invoice.
Meeting KPI:
Ensure all the required KPIs are met (if not, should have proper explanation): Invoicing (timely, accuracy), tracking event.
Others:
Report to Manager if any problem during the process.
Handle any other tasks assigned by Team Leader / HOD
