- Searching for new suppliers, maintaining and developing strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
- Sending Requests for Quotation (RFQs), negotiating with suppliers to secure best pricing, and following up with suppliers timely to ensure responses are received by the due date.
- Coordination with suppliers to arrange materials on-time for production.
- To control material inventory level and import cost to meet departmental targets.
- In-charge of other issues related to descrepancy in delivery of suppliers.
- Maintains 6S in his/her area of responsibility.
- Does other job as required by immediate superior from time to time.
