- Overview: The HIL Test Engineer is responsible for developing, configuring, and executing Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing to validate ECU software and vehicle functions across multiple automotive domains. The role focuses on test development, HIL bench configuration, automation, fault injection, and test result analysis.
- Responsibilites:
- HIL Test Development & Execution
- Configure and maintain HIL test benches for ECU and system validation.
- Develop test cases based on system and software requirements.
- Develop simulation models for sensors, actuators, and vehicle environments.
- Perform functional, regression, robustness, and fault injection testing.
- Analyze test results, report defects, and support root cause analysis.
- Develop automated test scripts using Python, CAPL, or equivalent tools
- Test Automation & Reporting
- Develop and maintain automated HIL test scripts.
- Execute test campaigns and regression testing.
Yêu cầu
- Generate test reports and track defect resolution.
- Support continuous testing and CI/CD integration.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work with System Engineering, ECU Development, Hardware, Integration, and Validation teams.
- Support ECU integration and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with suppliers to resolve technical issues
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automotive, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
- 3+ years of experience in automotive testing or HIL testing.
- Practical experience in ECU validation and test case development.
- Experience in at least one or two vehicle domains is preferred.
- Required Technical Skills
- Understanding of EV architecture and automotive ECU systems.
- Hands-on experience with HIL testing and test bench configuration.
- Knowledge of CAN/CAN-FD, LIN, UDS, and DoIP.
- Experience in one or more vehicle domains listed above.
- Knowledge of test automation using Python or CAPL.
- Ability to analyze communication logs and ECU behavior.
- Preferred Tools
- HIL: Vector VT System, dSPACE SCALEXIO, NI PXI, ETAS LABCAR.
- Testing: CANoe, CANalyzer, ECU-TEST, vTESTstudio.
- Diagnostics: CANdela Studio, DTS Monaco, ODX tools.
- Scripting: Python, CAPL.
- Others: Wireshark, Jira, DOORS, Polarion.
