  • The Infotainment Design and Integration Senior Engineer own the design, development and integration of the in-vehicle infotainment system (IVI) and connectivity features for VinFast vehicle programs. The role defines the overall IVI architecture, technical requirements and component standards (hardware, software and safety) so that the system meets vehicle-level objectives. Working closely with…
  • Research and design the overall architecture of the infotainment system (IVI) for each vehicle program.
  • Define requirements and establish technical standards (including hardware, software, safety standards, etc.) for infotainment-related components to meet vehicle-level objectives.
  • Develop and continuously update technical requirement specifications for all features related to the infotainment and connectivity systems.
  • Conduct Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) to ensure technical integrity and minimize risks during the development process.
  • Review and evaluate technical feasibility of proposed requirement changes from the system design team or other related departments regarding the infotainment system.
  • Raise change requests (ECR, DCR) in the system, including relevant technical information.
  • Review and assess test result reports from suppliers, including pass/fail evaluations, accuracy, and the adequacy of proposed corrective actions.
  • Coordinate and manage suppliers in the development and delivery of hardware/software in alignment with the vehicle program timeline.
  • Coordinate and support the vehicle integration team to ensure the infotainment system is fully compatible and operates reliably within the vehicle.
  • Analyze issues during development and field failures; monitor and support suppliers in proposing and implementing corrective solutions.

Yêu cầu

  • Technical knowledge
  • Solid knowledge of in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) and connectivity system architecture, covering hardware, software and safety standards.
  • Experience writing technical requirement specifications and component technical standards.
  • Hands-on with DFMEA, DVP (Design Verification Plan) and validation/homologation requirements.
  • Familiar with automotive product development milestones (P, I, PR drawing release, tool kick-off, T0/T1/T2 part builds, product validation).
  • Understanding of engineering change management (ECR, DCR) and EBOM/MBOM management.
  • Ability to review supplier designs, drawings and test reports, and to assess manufacturability (molding, casting, stamping).
  • Experience in root-cause analysis of development and field failures and driving supplier corrective actions.
  • Education & experience
  • Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automotive Electronics Engineering, or a related field. 4+ years of relevant experience
