- Job overview:
- We are looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to take deep ownership of the interface and interaction layer of our digital products — how each screen is structured, how it behaves, and how it holds up across every state, device and edge case.
- This is a craft-led senior role. You will work alongside product designers, product managers and engineers, and be the person the team relies on for interaction quality, accessibility and a design system that still holds together as the products grow. - Start from the problem, not the screen: understand what the user is trying to do and in what context, frame the problem clearly, explore more than one direction, and test the promising ones before refining any visual detail.
- Design interfaces end to end: information architecture, user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes and production-ready UI across web and mobile.
- Prototype quickly with AI: use AI tools to get from idea to a working, clickable prototype in hours rather than days, so decisions are made against something real instead of a static mockup.
- Design the whole experience, not the happy path: define every pó state state — empty, loading, error, permission, offline... — along with responsive behaviour and edge cases.
- Own the design system: build and maintain components, patterns and design tokens; document usage so designers and engineers apply them consistently across products.
- Design for everyone: build accessibility into components and patterns — contrast, touch targets, keyboard and screen-reader behaviour — so it is solved once in the system rather than retrofitted screen by screen.
- Validate with users: run usability testing on flows and prototypes, and turn what you observe into concrete interface improvements.
- Hold the quality bar through to release: produce clear specifications and handoff, review the built product against the design, and catch the gaps before launch.
- Raise the craft level: give and receive design critique, mentor less experienced designers, and help define the team UI standards and ways of working.
Yêu cầu
- Experience:
- 5+ years designing digital products for web and mobile, with a portfolio that shows the thinking behind the work — the user problem, the directions considered, and why the final one won — not only the finished screens.
- UX foundation: grounded in user-centred design and design thinking — able to frame a problem, pick the right method for it (task analysis, journey mapping, heuristic review, usability testing), and justify design decisions in terms of user goals and observed behaviour rather than personal taste.
- Interface craft: strong command of layout, grid, typography, colour, iconography and visual hierarchy — work that stays considered at every breakpoint.
- Interaction design: flows, navigation models, states and transitions; able to explain why an interaction behaves the way it does.
- Design systems: proven experience building or maintaining a component library and design tokens at scale — not only consuming an existing one.
- Usability: able to plan and run usability testing, and to act on the findings without waiting to be told what to fix.
- AI-assisted prototyping: fluent with AI prototyping tools as part of your day-to-day workflow — able to turn an idea into a working, clickable prototype fast, with the judgement to know when the output is a useful starting point and when to throw it away.
- Tools: expert in Figma (components, variants, auto-layout, prototyping); confident documenting and handing off to engineering.
- Collaboration: able to work closely with engineers and to explain design decisions clearly to product and senior stakeholders.
- Nice to have:
- Awareness of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practice.
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS, or familiarity with front-end component frameworks.
- Motion and micro-interaction design, or experience specifying motion for engineering.
- Comfort using product data or analytics to evaluate design decisions.
- Ability to read technical documentation in English.
