- Contribute to the investigation of hardware device failures, including but not limited to: materials, electrical, component quality, design and assembly.
- Apply scientific principles and investigative techniques to identify the fundamental cause(s) of hardware device failures. Utilize techniques such as microscopy, CT, and basic electrical probing to identify failure modes.
- Develop clear failure analysis documentation that can be read by both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Develop and optimize new investigative methods and laboratory procedures to address emerging challenges and improve failure analysis capabilities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide actionable recommendations and support corrective actions either in design, process or both for moderate parts or subsystems from concept to production.
