  • Work with stakeholders to define business questions, intended decisions, and analytical priorities.
  • Translate market intelligence needs into appropriate KPIs, analytical frameworks, data requirements, and dashboard specifications.
  • Analyze market size, category growth, brand and company shares, channel dynamics, competitive positioning, and pricing.
  • Interpret consumer, shopper, and macroeconomic trends to provide relevant market context.
  • Identify meaningful findings, explain business implications, and recommend further investigation or action.
  • Clearly distinguish verified findings, hypotheses, and data limitations.
  • Market Data Structuring & Quality
  • Review and assess market information from sources such as Nielsen, Kantar, Euromonitor, official statistics, and internal tracking.
  • Extract, clean, transform, and consolidate relevant information into reusable analytical datasets using SQL, Power Query, and appropriate tools.
  • Establish consistent category, brand, company, channel, geography, period, and metric mappings.
  • Assess whether datasets are comparable before combining or presenting them, considering differences in coverage, methodology, definitions, units, and reporting periods.
  • Maintain data dictionaries, source references, transformation rules, and validation checks.
  • Ensure dashboard figures remain traceable to their original sources.
  • Power BI & Market Dashboard Development
  • Design and build Power BI dashboards that answer clearly defined market and commercial questions.
  • Develop suitable data models, DAX measures, and visualizations for market analysis.
  • Structure dashboard navigation and analytical flows so users can move from market overview to relevant category, competitor, or channel detail.
  • Validate calculations and interpretations against source data before release.
  • Maintain and improve dashboards, troubleshoot data and refresh issues, and document update procedures.
  • Work with IT or technical teams where infrastructure, access, or integration support is required.
