Factory & Line Set-up
Plan factory layout and production flow; design and set up sewing lines.
Prepare equipment and tool lists with the Factory Director and Technical.
Methods & Standards
Build and maintain SAM data and operation bulletins (OB) for each style.
Run time studies, work layout improvements and line balancing; set productivity and efficiency targets.
Reduce changeover time between styles.
Join pre-production meetings and support Merchandising with SAM for costing.
Continuous Improvement
Manage change with line supervisors and team leaders so improvements are sustained.
Skills & Training
Build a skills matrix; train and grade operators with Production, Technical and HR.
Train and mentor staff on Lean principles to build a continuous improvement culture.
Collaboration & Ownership
IE owns methods, SAM, standards and analysis; Production owns execution and line results
Work with Quality and Logistics to resolve bottlenecks; support data collection for ERP/MES
