- Administration & Maintenance: Perform routine patching, upgrades, and migrations. Monitor database health and proactively address issues.
- Performance Tuning: Analyze execution plans, optimize complex SQL queries, and tune database parameters to ensure sub-second response times.
- High Availability (HA) & DR: Configure and manage replication, clustering (e.g., Oracle RAC, Galera for MariaDB), and disaster recovery drills.
- Linux Systems Integration: Being able to write advanced Bash or Python scripts to automate backups, monitoring alerts, and routine cron jobs.
- University degree
- Minimum of 4 years experience with Linux/Windows Operating System
- Minimum of 4 years experience with DBA
- Database skill: Experience in PostgreSQL, Oracle, MariaDB and/or MySQL
- Linux skill: Experience with Linux system, how to troubleshoot issue relate to CPU high, Memory, DISK...
- Familiar with cron job, automation able to write simple shell scripts
- Excellent communication skills, customer focus, problem-solving skills and a desire to learn and grow
- Ability to work under pressure
