Audit Planning & Strategy: Formulate and execute the annual risk-based internal audit plan for Vietnam entities, ensuring alignment with Group strategic goals and HKEX compliance requirements.
Independent Execution: Lead complex, sensitive, and high-risk operational, financial, IT, and compliance audits across Vietnam manufacturing/commercial units independently without day-to-day local supervision.
Team Leadership: Mentor, manage, and supervise the Vietnam Internal Audit Officer and local audit personnel, reviewing working papers and ensuring quality control.
Reporting & Communication: Prepare formal, high-quality audit reports for local management and Group IA in Hong Kong; present audit findings, risk ratings, and pragmatic action plans to senior management.
Regulatory & Risk Oversight: Monitor regulatory and tax changes in Vietnam (e.g., local labor laws, tax compliance, customs regulations) and assess their impact on group risk profiles.
Fraud Investigations: Lead or participate in special reviews, fraud investigations, or whistleblowing inquiries in coordination with Group IA teams.
Stakeholder Management: Maintain constructive relationships with local operational heads while safeguarding independence and objectivity; act as a trusted advisor on internal controls.
