- Develop new products and technologies, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure that projects align with the company’s strategic objectives
- Project documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments to handle and fix scope for improvement in product nomenclature.
- Benchmarking the product with other competitors for improvements- Determine and execute improved technologies used by suppliers, competitors, and customers.
- Coordination with Sales/ marketing and Tech team
- Participation in innovation process.
- Participating in the planning, execution, and monitoring of experiments to test new concepts or improve existing products and processes.
- Certification and Certificate of Confirmation (CoC)
- R&D MIS (Prepare and present reports on R&D activities, progress, and outcomes to senior management
- Ensure effective usage of Testing machines
- Trial and validation run of test
- Participation in inter laboratory testing & witness
- Maintenance of test facility for prompt and reliable service
- Organizing installation, commissioning and training
- Calibration and servicing
- Documentation
- Systematic record keeping of testing
- Maintaining ISO IEC accreditation
- Any other responsibilities assigned at time to time
- SAP activities
- Participation in audits
- Document all phases of research and development.
- Manage customer relationships and reviews, customer visits, and product testing.
- Establish and maintain testing procedures for assessing raw materials, in-process and finished products.
- Comply with the company's safety and regulations
- Interacting with QC, R&D teams to cater their needs as centralized R&D
- Project management
- Innovation and creativity, continuous improvement mindset (Lean, PDCA)
- Technical communication and reporting
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and 5S
- Time management
- Field study of prototype simulations
- Documentation for certifications
- 3rd party audit expedition
- Having exposer in Lab/Testing process
- Technical / engineering knowledge of products and materials
- Problem solving and root cause analysis, data analysis
- Teamwork and cross-functional collaboration
- Awareness on Polymer & Chemistry.
- QC/tech/R&D expertise background
