  • Lead large security design projects from start to finish, managing project timescales and deliverables.
  • Produce drawings, schematics, specifications and technical reports to industry and client standards, ensuring projects are completed on time and on budget.
  • Design and coordinate the following security systems
  • Access control and identification management
  • CCTV and video surveillance
  • Intrusion detection and alarms
  • Perimeter security and detection
  • Intercom and video-entry systems
  • Security management and monitoring systems
  • Security control rooms and operator workstations
  • Vehicle access control and barriers
  • Visitor management and badging systems
  • Security system networks and integrations
  • Deliver coordinated designs, working with design team members to ensure all requirements by others are included and delivered to the required standard.
  • Consider system resilience, redundancy, maintainability and operational continuity within mission critical environments.
  • Support security risk assessments, threat assessments and the development of security zoning and operational requirements.
  • Conduct project meetings and document key decisions, actions and design deviations.
  • Review contractor proposals, equipment selections, technical submittals and installation information.
  • Contact product manufacturers and specialist suppliers to remain up to date with the latest security products and technologies.
  • Support commissioning, testing and handover activities where required.
  • nput into client fee proposals, track project budgets and invoicing schedules.
  • Provide team support, share technical knowledge and contribute to internal meetings.
  • Meet all project deadlines and contribute to project profitability.
  • Prioritise tasks efficiently and effectively across multiple projects.
  • Maintain accurate timesheets and expense reports, achieve revenue targets and secure additional service agreements when required.
