- Material Planning
- Prepare and monitor material requirements based on customer orders, forecasts, and production plans.
- Check inventory levels, usage requirements, and supply schedules; coordinate with Purchasing to ensure materials are delivered on time.
- Provide early warnings of potential shortages and recommend corrective actions.
- Call-off Coordination and Inventory Control
- Coordinate material call-offs from suppliers or storage warehouses according to production requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels, incoming materials, and consumption to maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Monitor slow-moving and long-aged inventory; work with the Warehouse team to reconcile data and recommend actions.
- Prepare regular inventory reports and additional reports as required.
- ERP Item Management
- Create, update, and maintain item master data in the ERP system.
- Verify the accuracy of item codes, units of measure, and related material information.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to update changes, identify data discrepancies, and resolve them.
- Production and Trial Planning
- Assist in preparing and updating production plans based on customer orders, capacity, and material availability.
- Track production progress and coordinate plan adjustments when necessary.
- Coordinate materials and schedules for trial runs of new products, materials, or processes.
- Monitor trial progress, consolidate results, and coordinate the implementation of next steps.
- Reporting and Coordination
- Prepare reports on materials, inventory, and production progress.
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Production, R&D, and other relevant departments.
