- Personal data protection and DPO compliance
- Monitor applicable personal data protection regulations and advise on compliance obligations and data subject rights.
- Develop and maintain privacy policies, procedures, notices and consent materials.
- Prepare and maintain personal data processing and cross-border transfer impact assessment dossiers; assess risks and monitor remediation.
- Develop and implement data processing and data sharing agreements with third parties.
- Coordinate data subject requests, personal data incident response, internal escalation and regulatory notifications.
- Coordinate with relevant departments and authorities, deliver awareness training, and report compliance status to management.
- Legal advisory, research and reporting
- Provide legal advice on daily operational, corporate and regulatory matters and conduct legal research on routine and ad hoc legal issues.
- Monitor relevant legal developments and prepare legal updates, regular reports and compliance recommendations.
- Contract review and management
- Review routine commercial and operational contracts and advise internal departments on contract interpretation, legal risks and negotiation
- Develop and maintain standard contract templates, including for new business models and recurring transactions.
- Advise on contract interpretation, risk allocation and negotiation; support improvements to contract review and management processes.
- Coordinate with IT on DPO responsibilities, with Legal focusing on legal compliance and IT handling technical assessment
- Participate in cross-functional projects.
- Perform other legal and compliance duties as assigned by Head of Legal.
