Tổng quan

  • You will:
  • Design, build, and maintain high-performance backend services that support core user experiences on Zalopay.
  • Develop scalable and maintainable APIs using Golang, HTTP, and gRPC.
  • Build event-driven and near-real-time data-processing workflows.
  • Design data models, caching strategies, and storage solutions for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Integrate with multiple internal platforms and services to deliver end-to-end product capabilities.
  • Ensure reliability across distributed workflows through appropriate handling of concurrency, idempotency, timeouts, retries, and failures.
  • Develop and maintain scheduled or batch-processing jobs where appropriate.
  • Improve system performance, observability, monitoring, and production traceability.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and drive technical problems through resolution.
  • Develop user-facing web components using React and TypeScript.
  • Implement API integration, state management, loading and error handling, and event tracking on the frontend.
  • Optimize frontend performance and user experience across mobile environments.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, including unit and integration tests.
  • Conduct code reviews and contribute to technical standards and engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Mobile, QA, Data, and other Engineering teams to deliver features end to end.
  • Senior candidates are expected to lead solution design, drive technical improvements, and mentor other engineers.
  • Your Skills and Experience
  • You may be a good fit for this role if you:
  • Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Have at least 4 years of professional software development experience; senior-level candidates should demonstrate strong ownership of production systems and technical design.
  • Have strong proficiency in Golang, including practical knowledge of concurrency and performance optimization.
  • Have hands-on experience with React and TypeScript and are comfortable contributing to frontend development.
  • Have solid experience in backend system design, including API design, data modeling, service decomposition, and microservices.
  • Have strong knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, including indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Have hands-on experience with Redis or similar caching technologies.
  • Have experience with Kafka or another message queue/event-streaming platform.
  • Understand distributed-system concepts such as idempotency, concurrency control, eventual consistency, retry strategies, and failure handling.
  • Have experience building, operating, and troubleshooting production systems.
  • Have experience writing unit, integration, automation, or end-to-end tests.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, end-to-end ownership, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Nice to have:
  • Experience building high-traffic, consumer-facing products.
  • Experience with data-intensive or near-real-time processing systems.
  • Experience running services in Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with feature flags, A/B testing, and controlled rollout strategies.
  • Experience optimizing React applications for mobile or embedded web environments.
  • Experience with observability, performance monitoring, and production incident investigation.
  • Experience in FinTech, payments, e-commerce, or other large-scale digital platforms.
  • Ability to work closely with non-technical stakeholders and translate product requirements into reliable technical solutions.
