Global Collaboration: Partner closely with the USA Engineering group and Technical Managers to integrate part requirements into high-performance blow mold designs.
End-to-End Design: Lead the development of blow mold concepts, layouts, and fabrication-ready full 3D design files.
Design for Manufacturability (DFM): Identify and communicate innovative design suggestions to optimize productivity, tool longevity, and cost-efficiency.
Advanced Technology: Incorporate state-of-the-art mold-making technology, metallurgy, and innovative design strategies (including scientific molding techniques).
Project Leadership: Manage complex project timelines and technical quality, overseeing mold sampling, Design of Experiments (DOEs), and troubleshooting from trial to production.
Research & Innovation: Develop and present solutions for tooling standards, low-cost alternatives, and new material performance for both local and remote factory sites.
Cross-functional Coordination: Act as the technical lead between Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and Program Management to ensure timely project completion.
