  • Contract Duration: 8 months with view to extend, asap start date
  • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior .NET Developer to join our team in Vietnam. You will collaborate within a cross-functional pod alongside our Australian client team on a critical backend migration of a live government application.
  • The project involves migrating an existing backend from Azure Functions to Azure Web App Service, driven by security requirements. The application is already live in production, so careful and methodical migration practices are essential.
  • Backend Migration: Lead the migration of the existing backend from Azure Functions to Azure Web App Service, ensuring zero disruption to the live production environment.
  • Security & Compliance: Apply best practices for secure backend development in alignment with government application security requirements.
  • Code Quality & Testing: Maintain high code quality through robust testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end tests) and adherence to best practices.
  • Azure Integration: Configure and maintain Azure services including App Service, authentication middleware, and related cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaboration: Work within an Agile pod alongside the Australian client team, participating in regular meetings, sizing exercises, and providing clear task updates in English.
  • Your Skills and Experience
  • Required Skills and Experience
  • Development: Strong experience with .NET (ideally .NET 8 or .NET 10).
  • Code Quality: Ensure adherence to high code quality standards, ensuring code coverage is maintained.
  • Architecture: Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Web App Service and/or Azure Functions.
  • Data Access: Proficiency with Entity Framework (or comparable modern ORM).
  • Containerization: Expertise using Docker and Docker Compose for local development and runtime setup.
  • Database: Experienced with MS SQL Server.
  • General Dev: Experience with version control systems (Git) and Agile development methodologies.
  • Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Communications: Fluency in spoken English is desirable. Fluency in written English is essential.
  • Authentication: Experience with Azure Active Directory B2C (Azure B2C) for identity and access management.
  • CICD: Experience with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD pipelines.
  • Containerization: Experience with Docker for local development and deployment.
