Database Management & Performance: Administrate databases management systems, either MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL. Monitoring system health and optimizing performance to prevent downtime.
Security & Data Integrity: Implementing security measures to protect data from unauthorized access, maintaining data integrity, and Managing user permissions.
Backup & Recovery: Execute database backup and recovery.
Data Modeling & Design: Assisting in the design and structure of databases based on company needs.
Support & Troubleshooting: Providing technical support to developers and users for queries, performance bottlenecks, and system errors.
Develop and maintain ETL workflows to extract, transform, and load data from source systems into the data warehouse, ensuring data quality and consistency.
Implement and optimize data warehouse architectures and indexing strategies for efficient data storage and retrieval.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver innovative solutions for data ingestion, transformation, and storage; with business analysts and stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance issues, implementing solutions to improve reliability and efficiency.
Other tasks assigned by line manager.
