Plays a crucial role in overseeing the development, and sustainable use of land and property and assets (not including equipment). This role involves managing land portfolios, ensuring regulatory compliance, real estate development proposal, and implementing best practices for land conversation and development.
Strategic Land Management:
Develop and execute land management strategies that align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
Oversee land acquisition, leasing, and development processes
Assess land use potential and optimize resource allocation for sustainability and profitability
Regulatory Compliance & Environmental Stewardship:
Ensure compliance with local, state and federal land use and environmental laws.
Work with environmental agencies and local authorities and zoning permitting, and conversation efforts.
Stakeholder Engagement & Negotiations:
Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and community organizations
Address land-related disputes and resolve issues effectively.
Operations & Financial Management:
Oversee budgets, contracts, and financial planning for land projects
Monitor land valuation trends and investment opportunities
Develop reports and recommendations for senior leadership regarding land assets
