Responsible for material planning and inventory control to ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging materials for production, while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, including resin, Mother Rolls (MR), additives, chemicals, packaging materials, and consumables.
Calculate material requirements based on production plans and monitor safety stock/minimum inventory levels.
Prepare purchasing plans and material replenishment schedules based on production demand and lead time.
Check material availability before releasing Production Orders to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production.
Communicate material requirements to Warehouse and Production teams on a shift, daily, or weekly basis.
Work with the ERP Project Team to implement and operate MRP within the ERP system.
Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Production, and Finance & Accounting to resolve material shortages and reconcile material issuance and consumption.
Prepare inventory and material planning reports and support process improvement initiatives.
