Production Scheduling & Capacity Optimization
Develop and maintain production timelines to align manufacturing output with market needs.
Develop weekly and daily production plans based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and plant capacity.
Evaluate machine and labor availability to optimize production lines and minimize downtime.
Adjust schedules "on the fly" in response to equipment breakdowns, ingredient shortages, or urgent order changes.
Inventory Management & Material Control
Oversee stock levels to ensure continuous production without excessive overhead.
Monitor stock levels of finished goods and raw materials to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
Strictly manage "First-Expiry, First-Out" (FEFO) protocols to ensure product freshness and safety.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Reporting
Facilitate communication between departments and track operational efficiency.
Act as a bridge between Sales, Warehouse, and Production departments to align supply with market demand.
Explain technical production data to non-technical stakeholders, such as Restaurant or Sales Managers.
Track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including Schedule Adherence, Production Yield, and Waste levels.
