  • The Plant Controller serves as the key finance business partner to the Factory Management Team, responsible for driving manufacturing performance improvement through rigorous yield analysis, cost control, CAPEX value realization and strong factory internal controls.
  • This role collaborates across all factory functions to drive productivity, reduce costs and waste, and ensure compliance with financial, tax, customs, and corporate governance requirements.
  • Key Area Result A: Business Partnering & Factory Performance
  • Act as the finance business partner to the Factory and Operational management team.
  • Support operational decision-making through financial analysis and business insights.
  • Establish robust operational and financial dashboards that provide timely visibility of yield, cost, productivity, inventory, and CAPEX performance to support management decision-making.
  • Strengthen accountability for identifying, quantifying, reporting, and reducing production yield losses through detailed root-cause analysis and financial impact assessment.
  • Challenge and support operational teams in identifying performance improvement opportunities.
  • Participate actively in Factory review meetings and operational discussions.
  • Ensure appropriate systems, master data governance, processes, and internal controls are established and maintained to support accurate product costing, inventory valuation, and reliable manufacturing performance reporting.
  • Key Area Result B: Cost Optimization & Continuous Improvement
  • Partner with all factory departments to identify and implement cost-saving and productivity improvement initiatives.
  • Enhance ownership of manufacturing cost performance by monitoring material, labor, overhead, and conversion cost variances while driving cost optimization initiatives.
  • Strengthen manufacturing and inventory controls by ensuring accuracy of material consumption, inventory records, production transactions, master data, and compliance with internal policies.
  • Key Area Result C: Investment & Capex Management.
  • Support financial evaluation of capital expenditure projects and operational investments.
  • In charge of CAPEX governance through investment evaluation, project cost monitoring, benefits realization tracking, and post-implementation ROI reviews.
  • Monitor approved capex projects to ensure spending, timeline, and expected benefits are aligned with approved assumptions.
  • Partner with project and operations teams on manufacturing expansion and improvement projects.
  • Participate in tender evaluation processes by providing financial analysis, cost assessment, profitability evaluation, and commercial risk review.
  • Review commercial terms and conditions of contracts to ensure alignment with company financial policies, profitability targets, tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Key Area Result D: Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Coordinate annual budgets and periodic forecasts for all factory functions.
  • Analyze budget versus actual performance and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Provide meaningful variance analysis and operational recommendations.
  • Support scenario analysis and business simulations for operational decision-making.
  • Key Area Result E: Compliance, Tax & Customs Governance
  • Ensure all inventory, manufacturing, and warehouse transactions comply with local tax regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
  • Monitor compliance of manufacturing and inventory processes related to material movements, production consumption, stock transfers, scrap handling, and finished goods reconciliation.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of records supporting tax and customs reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely submission of reports and documentation required by tax and customs authorities.
  • Identify compliance risks and drive corrective actions to minimize tax and customs exposure.
  • Support internal audits, tax audits, customs inspections, and external regulatory reviews.
  • Ensure ERP processes and system transactions are aligned with regulatory and compliance requirements.
