Transform design from tech pack stage to final, approved product using knowledge of vendor resources, materials characteristics, and product functionality.
Manage tech pack hand off from designer/ customer to tech team/ factory, ensuring all deliverables are complete and accurate.
Partner with Design team/ factory to work with the factories on the technical and construction needs.
Monitor and track all samples.
Translate critical features in working designs and tech packs for suppliers. Review and negotiate specific details during the sampling process related to design specifications.
Daily interaction with vendors and suppliers.
Track development through internal WIPs and lead the communication on calendar timing, materials, sample schedule and risk avoidance to all stakeholders.
Manage, coordinate, and maintain fabric, trim, and sample library.
Maintain product development schedule/calendar ensuring all milestone and timelines are met.
Responsible for product from initial hand-off stage to sign-off stage.
Oversee day-to-day operations of the Product Development team.
Manage material sourcing and factory sourcing.
Coordinate with relevant team to generate costing/ quotation to the buyers.
Bachelor of Garment Technology or related field.
3-5 years of experience in luggages & bags merchandising.
Strong knowledge of sourcing/ costing/ sample development.
Strong English communication skills, Chinesse language skills are a plus.
