- Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving electrical and automation systems to ensure production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and with minimum downtime.
- The key tasks and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Equipment Maintenance
- Perform preventive maintenance according to maintenance schedule.
- Troubleshoot electrical, PLC and automation failures.
- Repair electrical equipment to minimize production downtime.
- Replace defective electrical and automation components.
- Automation System
- Monitor PLC, HMI, Servo, Inverter (VFD), Sensors and Industrial Network systems.
- Support modification and optimization of PLC programs under engineering guidance.
- Assist in commissioning new machines and automation systems.
- Calibrate sensors and automation devices.
- Electrical System
- Maintain electrical control panels.
- Inspect motors, breakers, relays, contactors and electrical wiring.
- Perform electrical safety inspections.
- Read and understand electrical drawings and control schematics.
