Execute finite element analyses (FEA), including linear and nonlinear analyses using implicit and explicit solution methods, to evaluate structural behavior and integrity under static and dynamic loading scenarios, while supporting advanced and complex simulations with guidance from senior engineers.
Develop, refine, and troubleshoot computational models, geometry pre-processing workflows, and material property definitions using industry-standard FEA software (such as LS-DYNA or Abaqus), with a focus on structural and mechanical behavior.
Maintain organized documentation of models, assumptions, methodologies, and results to support knowledge transfer and repeatability across the team.
Support physical testing activities to validate FEA simulation results, investigate discrepancies, and enhance model reliability and predictive capability.
Draft technical reports and present and discuss simulation results and engineering findings under supervision.
Occasionally support literature surveys, research studies, and technology development and innovation initiatives related to structural analysis, computational mechanics, and simulation.
