- We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Staff to support procurement activities for indirect materials, services, construction, maintenance, and operational requirements while ensuring cost effectiveness, compliance, and uninterrupted business operations.
- Procurement Execution
- Source and evaluate suppliers for indirect materials, services, construction, repair, and maintenance requirements.
- Conduct supplier bidding, quotation analysis, commercial negotiations, and supplier selection.
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and contracts in compliance with company procedures and approval authority.
- Supplier Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and service improvement.
- Keep updated on market trends, pricing movements, and sourcing opportunities.
- Delivery & Project Coordination
- Follow up purchase orders to ensure materials and services are delivered according to agreed timelines.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure construction, maintenance, and service activities are implemented safely and effectively.
- Payment & Documentation
- Prepare and coordinate payment documentation to ensure suppliers are paid on time according to contract terms.
- Maintain complete and accurate procurement records for audit and compliance purposes.
- Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with purchasing policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Prepare purchasing reports accurately and on time.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Purchasing Supervisor/Manager.
