Review and analyze the test basis (e.g., specifications, requirements, technical documents) to ensure clarity, completeness, and testability, etc.
Develop detailed test specifications.
Verify readiness of the test infrastructure, including environments, tools, test data, and configurations. Utilize various testing platforms to simulate real world operating conditions and validate system performance, functionality, and reliability.
Develop & execute both automation and manual test cases. Implement, run, and maintain automated test scripts to enhance efficiency, coverage, and repeatability.
Analyze software and system defects, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions with development teams. Document defects clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner in defect tracking systems.
Analyze and summarize test results, identify potential risks, and report progress to engineering teams, stakeholders, and VnV Test Coordinators. Ensure proper archiving and maintenance of test artifacts (test cases, reports, logs, scripts, and test data).
