Design and document the end-to-end technical architecture, including its core components, data pipelines, and APIs.
Define the architecture for the system‘s data lake/warehouse, ensuring it can efficiently process and analyze large volumes of transactional and social listening data.
Ensure the overall solution is scalable, secure, and reliable, planning for data growth projected to reach terabytes.
Make critical technology stack and framework decisions in collaboration with the development and DevOps teams.
Create detailed architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and other design documents to guide the development teams.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, ensuring best practices are followed.
Evaluate and select third-party services or technologies where appropriate to meet project requirements.

8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3+ years in a Solution Architect or similar role.
Proven experience designing and building large-scale, distributed systems on a major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Deep understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.
Experience with database design for both transactional (SQL) and analytical (NoSQL, Data Warehouse) workloads.
Strong knowledge of data engineering concepts, including data ingestion, ETL/ELT processes, and data lakes.
Excellent ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with blockchain technology and concepts.
Experience designing systems that process terabytes of data.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience in the tourism tech or FinTech sectors.
Cloud architect certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
