  • Independently manage the end-to-end customs declaration and clearance process for import and export shipments in Ho Chi Minh City, from document preparation and declaration to customs clearance and post-clearance filing.
  • Advise clients and Chinese colleagues on Vietnam HS codes, import/export regulations, customs procedures, and import/export tax regulations applicable to different types of goods.
  • Review customs documents and supporting documents provided by clients, identify discrepancies or compliance risks, and provide timely recommendations and corrections before official declaration.
  • Handle customs declarations for various categories of goods, including electronics, cosmetics, machinery, and other commercial commodities.
  • Independently operate Vietnam's official electronic customs declaration system to accurately prepare, input, submit, and follow up on customs declarations and related documents.
  • Coordinate directly with customs authorities regarding customs inspections, document amendments, valuation issues, HS code classification, goods detention, and other customs clearance matters.
  • Proactively identify and resolve customs clearance exceptions and compliance risks, ensuring shipments are cleared smoothly and on schedule.
  • Keep up to date with changes in Vietnamese customs policies, import/export regulations, HS classification, tax regulations, and customs procedures, and provide relevant advice to internal teams and clients.
  • Maintain complete and organized records of customs declarations, tax documents, customs clearance documents, and other relevant shipping documentation, and submit the required documents to the Accounting/Finance team.
  • Work closely with internal teams, clients, and transportation providers to coordinate truck bookings, delivery schedules, and shipment arrangements, ensuring timely and smooth delivery of goods.
  • Support other customs, import/export, and logistics-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.
