  • FinOps
  • Manage annual IT operational and investment budgets across multi-cloud
  • environments, including AWS, OCI, VNG, CMC, and other cloud providers.
  • Budget Planning: Support annual IT budget planning activities based on the IT
  • portfolio, strategic initiatives, and business priorities.
  • Perform forecasting, variance analysis, and monthly/quarterly financial tracking.
  • Allocate cloud costs to the appropriate business units and projects through
  • chargeback/showback mechanisms based on CUR data.
  • Manage Savings Plans and Reserved Instances, including coverage analysis
  • break-even point assessment, and purchase/renewal recommendations.
  • Review right-sizing recommendations and identify and remediate underutilized or
  • wasteful cloud resources.
  • Monitor Extended Support and End-of-Support timelines and proactively
  • coordinate with relevant teams on upgrades.
  • Establish and maintain tagging policies, budget alerts, governance controls, and
  • daily cost anomaly monitoring.
  • Vendor Management
  • Vendor Lifecycle Oversight: Support vendor onboarding & offboarding process
  • as well as the ongoing governance of IT vendors across cloud service.
  • Contract Management & Negotiation: Monitor contract renewal schedules and
  • vendor payments; support negotiating new and renewal contracts with vendors to
  • secure optimal terms, pricing, KPIs and service-level agreements (SLAs) while
  • minimizing risk.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track vendor performance against defined SLAs &
  • KPIs. Manage service issues, escalate when necessary, and coordinate periodic
  • service and performance reviews.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Act as the primary liaison between internal
  • IT/business stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring alignment with strategic
  • goals and expectations.
  • Risk & Compliance: Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure vendor
  • engagements comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Governance Reporting: Develop & maintain vendor scorecards, risk registers
  • and documentation to support internal governance and IT vendor risk oversight.
  • Governance & Controls
  • Review and approve requests to provision/decommission cloud resources and
  • open/close cloud accounts based on required documentation, including
  • architecture diagrams, cost estimates, and relevant approvals.
  • Assess the technical and financial suitability of proposed architectures and
  • estimated costs for new projects or change requests prior to implementation.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new projects onto cloud environments
