- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web applications and services using Java technologies.
- Develop scalable and high-performance applications using Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC).
- Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and database integrations.
- Implement object-oriented design principles and coding best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and Project Managers.
- Prepare technical documentation and support deployment activities.
- For bilingual candidates, communicate with Japanese and/or Chinese stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates.
- Your Skills and Experience
Yêu cầu
- Minimum 1+ years of experience as a Java Developer (open to Junior, Middle, Senior level) in complex or enterprise-level environments.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Core Java/ Java EE (JEE)
- Spring Framework: Spring Boot/ Spring MVC
- Nice to have: Hibernate / JPA, JSP / Servlets
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Good understanding of relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Understanding of system integration and API development.
- Option 1: Java Engineer – English Speaking | Good communication skills in English.
- Option 2: Java Engineer - Japanese Speaking | Japanese proficiency (JLPT N3/N2/N1) & Ability to communicate with Japanese clients and stakeholders.
- Option 3: Java Engineer - Mandarin Speaking | Mandarin Chinese proficiency (HSK certification is a plus) & Ability to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders.
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Equivalent practical experience is also welcomed.
