The Hands-on Engineer will be responsible for executing equipment repairs, developing comprehensive technical documentation, and compiling and analyzing operational data for machinery and equipment currently under development. Take over and continuously develop automated machinery following the handover from the PID department.
Standardize technical documentation and operational procedures for automated machine systems.
Update and provide advanced training to upskill electricians and production operators on new technologies.
Collaborate with relevant departments and suppliers to troubleshoot arising issues and propose improvements to enhance equipment capabilities.
Participate in equipment repairs to ensure safe operations, increase productivity, and minimize machine downtime.
Execute other tasks and duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
Key Results/Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Automation machine downtime deduction.
New machines & upgrade success rate.
Cost-benefit contribution to the factory.
