- Production Planning & Execution
- Assist the Production Manager in planning, organizing and controlling all sewing production
- activities to ensure production targets, delivery schedules and customer requirements are
- achieved.
- Monitor daily production performance across multiple sewing lines and ensure production plans are
- executed effectively.
- Coordinate manpower, machines and materials to maximize production capacity and operational
- efficiency.
- Drive production recovery plans when output falls below target.
- Operations Management
- Manage and supervise multiple Sewing Supervisors and Team Leaders to ensure standardized
- production operations.
- Monitor line performance, capacity utilization, efficiency and WIP control.
- Review production bottlenecks and implement timely corrective actions.
- Ensure production processes comply with approved SOPs and company standards.
- People Leadership & Organization Development
- Lead, coach and develop Sewing Supervisors, Team Leaders and key production personnel.
- Build a high-performance production organization through coaching, succession planning and
- performance management.
- Evaluate manpower requirements and support recruitment, training and employee development.
- Foster teamwork, discipline and employee engagement within the production department.
- Productivity & Continuous Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, reduce labor cost and improve
- manufacturing efficiency.
- Analyze production data, identify losses and implement improvement projects.
- Promote Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S and Standard Work throughout the sewing department.
- Work closely with IE to improve line balancing, manpower utilization and production capacity.
- Quality Management
- Ensure all sewing operations comply with customer specifications and quality standards.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
- Reduce defects, rework, repair and customer complaints through systematic improvement
- activities.
- Promote quality awareness and accountability across all sewing lines.
- Safety & Equipment Management
- Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
- Promote a safe working environment and ensure all employees follow machine safety procedures.
- Coordinate with Maintenance to improve equipment reliability, preventive maintenance and
- machine availability.
- Support investment and implementation of new machinery and production technology.
