- Project Engineering & Design
- Lead mechanical design and development of custom projects.
- Develop engineering concepts, design options, and technical solutions based on customer requirements.
- Create and review 3D models, assemblies, detailed drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
- Ensure designs meet functionality, safety, manufacturability, and quality requirements.
- Support engineering change requests and product modifications.
- Mechanical R&D
- Lead mechanical R&D projects focused on product improvement, innovation, and new product development.
- Research and evaluate design concepts, components, materials, and manufacturing methods.
- Develop prototypes and conduct design validation activities.
- Perform engineering calculations, testing, and technical analysis.
- Document lessons learned and design standards.
- Technical Leadership
- Serve as a technical lead for assigned projects.
- Provide engineering guidance and technical support to other engineers.
- Conduct design reviews and engineering checks.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining engineering standards and best practices.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Project Management
- Manage project schedules, milestones, and engineering deliverables.
- Identify technical risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Coordinate engineering activities with sourcing, suppliers, production, and the US team.
- Monitor project progress and communicate status updates.
- Manufacturing & Production Support
- Support prototype builds and production implementation.
- Resolve technical issues related to manufacturing and assembly.
- Collaborate with sourcing and suppliers to ensure component quality and availability.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for engineering-related issues.
- Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain engineering documentation, BOMs, revision control, and technical records.
- Ensure engineering releases comply with internal standards and procedures.
- Support the creation of engineering specifications, design guidelines, and work instructions.
