Source fasteners and industrial components such as CNC parts, stamping hardware, injection molding parts etc. Analyze quotes and make purchase recommendation.
Review customer requirements (per standard, per print, specification or PPAP) to ensure manufacturers have process capability and feasibility and good understanding to be successful.
Develop new vendors and commodities by conducting industry research, quality survey, vendor audit and participating in trade shows.
See through new product development by collaborating with suppliers & international cross-functional team.
Assist suppliers during on-boarding processes and maintain an effective communication channel.
Identify cost saving opportunities and optimize supplier base.
Update and maintain sourcing data, report daily activities to Asia Sourcing Manager.
