- Reporting line: Finance Assistant Manager
- Subordinate: None
- Oversee daily accounting operations relating production
- Analyze and collect data on the costs of business activities, such as raw materials, labor, and overhead, to identify inefficiencies
- Work with various departments to develop cost standards and assist with overall financial planning
- Develop budgets and revenue forecasts, and monitor and reform budgets to control expenses.
- Prepare regular financial reports, such as variance analyses, cost reports, and profitability analyses, for management.
- Implement, modify, and maintain cost accounting systems and ensure recordkeeping is accurate.
- Examine financial data to identify trends, provide recommendations for cost savings, and enhance revenue.
- Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management to inform decisions on cost structures, pricing, and operational improvements.
- May assist with updating policies and procedures and reviewing internal controls.
- Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies, and assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation (e.g., general ledger, cash payments/collections, tax transactions, etc.)
- Control/reconciliation of accounts and records (balance sheet, P&L, bank accounts, etc)
- Accounts Payable/Receivable and/or Credit & Collections
- Ensure adherence to financial laws and internal guidelines.
- Other tasks assigned by Line manager.
