Monitor relevant foreign-exchange rates and market movements during working hours.
Maintain a daily FX rate tracker and provide timely updates to the management team.
Obtain and compare exchange-rate quotations and transaction costs from banks or other authorized financial institutions.
Monitor the company’s foreign-currency requirements and prepare recommendations on transaction timing, amount and available rates.
Execute approved foreign-exchange transactions strictly in accordance with the company’s authorization and approval procedures.
Prepare short-term cash-flow forecasts and monitor daily bank balances.
Process and follow up on domestic payments, international payments, receipts and cross-border remittances.
Prepare and collect contracts, invoices and supporting documents required by banks for payments or foreign-exchange transactions.
Coordinate with banks on account administration, payment status, KYC and other operational matters.
Maintain complete records of quotations, approvals, payments and foreign-exchange transactions.
Perform initial bank reconciliation and provide complete bank records to the General Accountant.
Report unusual exchange-rate movements, payment delays, insufficient balances or other financial risks promptly.
Communicate with the headquarters in China and coordinate with the General Accountant and business teams.
Perform other reasonable treasury and finance-related duties assigned by the company.
