- Role Purpose
- 1. Category Strategy & Performance
- Define and execute category strategies for Beverage and Confectionery
- Drive revenue, margin, and market share growth
- Monitor category performance and take corrective actions where needed
- Identify growth opportunities and emerging trends
- 2. Assortment & Product Management
- Build and optimize product assortment (core range, traffic drivers, innovation)
- Manage product lifecycle: listing, review, delisting
- Ensure the right balance between branded products and own brand development
- Improve SKU productivity and category efficiency
- 3. Supplier Management & Buying
- Develop and manage relationships with key suppliers
- Lead commercial negotiations to secure best pricing and trading terms
- Source new suppliers and products to strengthen category competitiveness
- Ensure supplier performance in terms of quality, supply, and cost
- 4. Pricing & Promotion
- Define pricing strategy to ensure strong price competitiveness
- Monitor competitors and adjust pricing accordingly
- Plan and execute promotions, campaigns, and seasonal activities
- Work closely with marketing to drive customer traffic and sales
- 5. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Operations to ensure product availability and execution in stores
- Work with Supply Chain to optimize inventory levels and reduce stock loss
- Coordinate with Marketing for category campaigns and branding initiatives
- 6. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze sales data, customer behavior, and market trends
- Track key KPIs: sales, margin, stock turnover, availability
- Provide regular reports and actionable insights to senior management
