Ensure to comply with all Purchasing policies, both global and local.
Ensure transport needs are met on time and efficiently managed with sound transport need scheduling so that operational and programmatic activities run smoothly.
Manage and maintain inventory to operating levels to avoid supply.
Source, evaluate and select suppliers, vendors, or sub-contractors (oversea/ local) for materials/ goods/ services and negotiate terms for purchases with set frame from company
Place orders, follow up these orders to ensure goods receipt on time
Keep on-going relationships with major suppliers, vendors, or sub-contractors to ensure that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.
Prepare contract, pro-forma invoice and supporting documents for import goods
Implement local Purchasing procedures in conjunction with business functions
Represent companies in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers
Maintain document /ISO system related to purchasing activities periodically.
Control the cost reduction in purchasing process
Suggesting ideas for continuous improvement in Purchasing.
