Tổng quan

  • Propose and evaluate solution options — architecture, interfaces, trade-offs — and drive the design, not just implement to spec
  • Develop Linux kernel drivers (netdev, DMA, hardware register interface) and userspace daemons for link control, configuration, and telemetry
  • Prototype approaches early to validate before committing to a design
  • Integrate with the FPGA team; define and own the driver ↔ hardware interface
  • Test and validate: write tests, measure real behavior (latency, throughput, error rates), and verify against requirements
  • Your Skills and Experience
  • Must have — technical
  • 5+ years embedded Linux experience (BSP + kernel drivers) on ARM SoCs
  • Strong C/C++ and Linux kernel internals
  • Strong software / system architecture skills
  • Comfortable with cross-compilation, embedded toolchains, and debugging on real hardware
  • How you work (just as important as the tech)
  • Self-direction in ambiguity — turn vague goals into concrete plans, own a slice end-to-end, and follow through
  • Judgment & verification discipline — ground decisions in evidence (measurement, source, tests) and catch subtle errors instead of trusting plausible-looking output
  • AI leverage with discipline — use AI tools to move faster while knowing their limits and verifying what they produce
  • Cross-team communication — define clean interfaces with the hardware team, ask sharp questions, write clear design docs, disagree constructively
  • Fast learner across unfamiliar domains — SDR, RF, FPGA, kernel
  • Pragmatic — prioritize, de-risk early, avoid over-engineering, ship in increments

  • Linux networking / wireless stack
  • Baseband / PHY knowledge relevant to a UAV datalink (OFDM, modulation, channel coding, link adaptation)
