Tổng quan

  • Plan, monitor, and supervise the technical condition, repairs, maintenance, preservation, docking, class surveys, and other technical matters of vessels.
  • Process technical reports from vessels, analyze root causes of defects, and provide guidance to vessels for corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with Procurement to verify technical specifications, maker/model, critical spare parts, and technical service requirements.
  • Coordinate with QHSE and DPA when technical incidents affect safety, environment, class/statutory requirements, or SMS/ISM compliance.
  • Conduct periodic technical inspections according to approved plans and forms.
  • Review and check monthly reports from the engine department.
  • Report to the Fleet Manager on matters within the scope of assigned duties; simultaneously notify DPA promptly of issues affecting SMS/ISM, vessel operational safety, pollution prevention, incidents, serious defects, or non-conformities.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Fleet Manager in accordance with functions and responsibilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or equivalent
  • With experience as Technical Superintendent or in a similar role in shipping/transport industry.
  • Strong knowledge of vessel operations, maintenance systems, and maritime regulations.
  • Valid COC (Chief Engineer / Second Engineer) preferred.
  • Good analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Willing to travel when required.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficient in English (reading technical documents and writing reports).
