  • Terminal Maintenance Governance, Asset Performance & Service Assurance
  • Lead the governance, performance and operational oversight of terminal infrastructure assets, ensuring systems and facilities remain safe, reliable and available to support airport operations.
  • Manage outsourced Hard FM contracts and specialist maintenance service providers, ensuring contractual obligations, service level agreements and performance standards are achieved.
  • Ensure effective maintenance governance and performance oversight of specialist terminal systems including baggage handling systems (BHS), passenger boarding bridges (PBB), lifts, escalators, building management systems and associated infrastructure.
  • Establish maintenance performance standards, service level agreements, reliability targets and contractor performance frameworks to maximise infrastructure availability and operational resilience.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance, asset condition, contractor performance and reliability trends, implementing corrective actions and improvement initiatives where required.
  • Support long-term asset performance and renewal planning in coordination with the Asset Management function.
  • Ensure terminal infrastructure supports airport operational requirements, passenger service objectives and future airport growth.
  • Support airport operational readiness, commissioning, infrastructure handover and acceptance activities for new terminal infrastructure and systems.
  • Maintenance Compliance, Statutory Assurance & Contractor Management
  • Ensure maintenance activities are planned, prioritised and delivered in accordance with operational requirements, asset criticality, statutory obligations and risk-based maintenance principles.
  • Ensure outsourced service providers maintain appropriately trained, competent and qualified personnel to fulfil contractual and operational requirements.
  • Monitor contractor compliance with applicable legislation, regulatory requirements, airport standards, safety management requirements and contractual obligations.
  • Ensure statutory inspection, testing, certification and recertification of lifts, escalators, passenger boarding bridges, fire protection systems and other regulated terminal infrastructure are completed in accordance with applicable legislation, regulatory requirements and manufacturer recommendations.
  • Ensure terminal infrastructure, fire protection systems and associated life safety systems comply with the Law on Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue No. 55/2024/QH15, its implementing regulations and other applicable Vietnamese legislation. Coordinate statutory inspections, approvals and corrective actions with the Fire Police and relevant competent authorities.
  • Ensure maintenance activities comply with the approved Construction Maintenance Process in accordance with Decree 06/2021/ND-CP and applicable Vietnamese construction and infrastructure maintenance regulations.
  • Own and govern the Terminal Infrastructure Permit-to-Work system, ensuring maintenance, contractor and project activities are appropriately controlled and coordinated.
  • Support regulatory inspections, audits and compliance reviews, ensuring findings are effectively addressed, tracked and closed.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance contractor performance, maintenance effectiveness, asset reliability and operational performance.
  • Operational Support, Stakeholder Management & Continuous Improvement
  • Lead and develop the Terminal Maintenance function, ensuring appropriate organisational capability, succession planning and workforce development.
  • Provide leadership, guidance and oversight to outsourced service providers, specialist contractors and terminal maintenance personnel.
  • Support airport operations through effective coordination with AOCC, Passenger Services, Airfield Operations, Ground Handling and other operational stakeholders.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for significant terminal infrastructure failures, technical risks, service failures and maintenance-related operational disruptions.
  • Support Airport Emergency Plan (AEP) activations, business continuity arrangements and operational recovery activities from a terminal infrastructure and facilities perspective, coordinating contractor resources where required.
  • Support ORAT activities, infrastructure handover, defect rectification management and operational readiness programmes associated with airport opening and future development phases.
  • Ensure terminal landscaping, external areas and maintenance activities are managed in accordance with the Airport Wildlife Hazard Management Programme, minimising potential wildlife attractants associated with terminal infrastructure.
  • Contribute to airport planning, operational readiness and future infrastructure development initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, innovation and continuous improvement across the Terminal Maintenance function.
