WORK DIRECTLY WITH JAPANESE CLIENTS IN IT PROJECTS
Unlike positions that mainly focus on document translation, your primary responsibility will be interpreting in meetings between Japanese clients/boss and Vietnamese engineers.
You'll participate in discussions on system requirements, development progress, technical issues, and project planning—helping both sides communicate smoothly and accurately.
If you enjoy communicating, thinking quickly, and working in a real software development environment, this role is for you.
Interpret Japanese ⇄ Vietnamese in meetings with Japanese clients and development teams
Facilitate smooth communication during discussions on requirements, system design, development progress, bug fixing, and technical issues
Translate project documents when necessary (specifications, emails, chat messages, meeting notes, etc.)
Work closely with PMs, developers, and Japanese clients throughout the project lifecycle
Use AI tools to improve translation quality and work efficiency
Around 50% or more of your work involves spoken communication and meeting interpretation.

Must-have
At least 2+ years of experience as an IT Communicator / IT Interpreter
Excellent spoken Japanese (business level or above)
Confident interpreting in live meetings with Japanese clients
Able to understand technical discussions and communicate naturally in an IT environment
Familiar with software development terminology and project workflows
Good listening, logical thinking, and communication skills
Responsible, proactive, and willing to learn
Nice to have
Experience participating in requirement definition or development meetings
Experience using AI tools to improve work efficiency
