- Electrical Design Engineer is responsible for preparing and developing electrical designs and technical documentation for semiconductor manufacturing and other high-tech facility projects. The role supports the engineering team in delivering practical, reliable, and compliant electrical design solutions in accordance with project requirements, specifications, and applicable standards.
- Electrical Design & Drafting
- Prepare electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, schematics, and detailed design drawings.
- Perform basic electrical design calculations and equipment sizing under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Develop designs for electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting, small power, and other project-related systems.
- Review project requirements, specifications, and design criteria.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Prepare and update drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant design tools.
- Design Development & Support
- Support design revisions and updates based on project requirements and site conditions.
- Assist in evaluating alternative design solutions for cost efficiency and constructability.
- Support senior engineers in resolving design and technical issues during project execution.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors on electrical equipment and technical requirements.
- Documentation & Quality
- Prepare and maintain design drawings, calculations, specifications, and other technical documents.
- Ensure design deliverables are accurate, complete, and properly updated.
- Support preparation of as-built drawings and project handover documents.
- Follow project and company quality procedures for all design deliverables.
